Yes, before Lilly was crawling, Abby was definitely in charge
(or so she thinks)
But now? Now the power may just be shifting a bit.
Case and Point: Bath time
What was once a simple evening activity, whereby I would first let Abby get in the tub to play, then strategically place Lilly next to her, at the opposite end from the faucet (Abby really likes to play in the running water, and it gives me a chance to quickly soap down Lilly and wash her hair and get her out almost before Abby even notices she is in there)
has now turned into a mad (crawling) dash for the running water at the faucet end of the tub. And it seems that just because Lilly can wiggle her way through small spaces, Abby may just be getting edged out a little bit.
It is so amazing to watch the dynamic of these two little (equally stubborn) redheads as they get older, wiser, and certainly more independent. And 99% of the time...they play great together.
It's just that other 1% that we have to worry about.
