I'm such a rebel

I am having such a hard time coming up with exactly what I want to say about what I think I can call the best Christmas ever, so a post about our first holiday with our baby girl will have to wait for now.

In the meantime, here's a few pictures of today's afternoon nap...taken with my new Canon Rebel! The one my amazing husband gave me for our anniversary. The one I have no clue how to use...yet.

Christmas Eve 2008

A long time ago...
In a galaxy far, far away...



Ok...ok...not so long ago (2 years to be exact),

and alright already, in THIS galaxy (not one far, far away)...

anyways...back to my story...



This man



And this woman...



were married!



That's right. This Christmas Eve we celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary. It truly was the happiest day of my life.

Until...

Exactly 20 months later...

August 24, 2008...

a 2 pound 4 ounce miracle, and her angel twin sister came along...



And made our little family complete.

So today, December 24, 2008, I celebrate my husband. The father of my children and the love of my life.

And I celebrate my daughter, who today turns 4 months old.



And I celebrate Christmas.




Happy Anniversary Brian. And Thank you for loving me.

And Happy 4-month birthday, my sweet baby Abigail. Everyday you amaze me with your strength.

If I didn't have bad luck...

You can often hear me saying that. Until today. Today...I got lucky! Not THAT kind of lucky. Geez people...get your minds out of the gutters, would you please? And no, I didn't win MckMama's Rebel for a Cause Raffle-Way (although I prayed every night that I would), but I DID win Brittany's One Step Ahead Safari Tummy Time Giveaway...and I am THRILLED! As soon as I saw she had this awesome giveaway going on, I just had to enter. I knew it would be just perfect for Abigail! We are working so hard to keep her on schedule with her adjusted age. And right now we are definitely practicing hold our head up. Ok...she's practicing. I'm just supervising. But I know this awesome playmat is going to help, so Brittany...from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!
